Zermatt Utah Resort & Spa, located in beautiful Midway - just minutes from Park City - is seeking an experienced, proactive Administrative Assistant to fill a full-time, year-round position supporting the Food and Beverage department (F&B), including assisting the Banquets team and guests of the Conference Center.
The Administrative Assistant is a master multi-tasker with excellent communication, problem-solving, and math skills with an upbeat attitude. He or she should be able to assist management providing polite and professional assistance via phone and e-mail, and generally provide a helpful and positive presence in the organization. The Administrative Assistant should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others and have experience in building strong working relationships. To be successful in this position requires someone who is detail-oriented, exceptionally organized, and who has an excellent working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software. The person can expect to complete tasks alone and in teams, manage multiple inventories, and report to and advise department management on projects.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Accommodate department staff with administrative duties as required.
Maintain polite and professional communication via phone and e-mail.
Organize and maintain documents on the F&B shared drive.
Process department billing and invoice coding of all expenses.
Coordinate and participate in weekly F&B meetings.
Record and distribute minutes from meetings.
Submit all documentation related to inventory and verify information is accurately completed and filed correctly.
High school diploma.
Minimum of 1-year experience in the administrative support field and or Food & Beverage business.
Proficiency with office technology and equipment, including copiers, scanners and computers.
Working knowledge of MS Office programs Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Exceptional interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
Strong task and time management skills.
Clear, polite phone voice.
Ability to work well under limited supervision.
Able to work weekends and holidays on occasion.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
