Front Office Manager

The Front Office Manager will manage operations and guest service for bell staff, night audit, reservations and the front desk area.
Will ensure all areas provide guests with the top level service, while watching labor and controlling costs.
This position is responsible for total guest experience.
Including concerns, billing and guest recovery.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Promotes the mission, vision and values of the resort Manage Reservation agents, who are currently taking reservation calls, pbx calls and helping with front desk calls.
Monitor when calls are coming in Manage Group Reservations Manage Night Audit Manage Bell Captain Manage Front Desk Supervisors Training and communication with Wyndham call center / monitor their reporting Review and approve timecards/labor daily Manage inventory in Opera Review reviews, respond to them and discuss with team Help manage Opera with rate plans, packages, resort fees, etc Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other shifts and departmental management Maintain a professional working relationship and promote open lines of communication with managers, employees and other departments SOP's, keep all information and binders updated Operate all aspects of the front office computer system, including computer and phone issues and report generation and analysis Schedules / hiring / interviews.
Scheduling all teams according to business levels Review 48 hours out arrivals to make sure no surprises, traces, staffing etc Check all areas lobby, bell, front desk to make sure it is stocked up and looks clean and professional Work on guest service!! Be out and being friendly to guests.
Phone courtesy training Communicate and enforce policies and procedure Meet and greet guests Train of entire team, Initiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote hotel services Coach and counsel employees Establishes objectives and goals for the team:
plans, organizes and manages workflow Perform all tasks of a front office staff as needed to facilitate service Resume meeting Operations meeting Leadership meeting Front AM meeting Front Shift Switch Managers Meeting One on one with Stacy Meeting with their supervisors and team Cutoff meeting The Hotel functions seven days a week and 24-hours a day.
All employees, both management and hourly, must realize, at times, it may be necessary to move an employee from their accustomed shift so support business demands.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
